Dong Ding Oolong tea (also called Tung Ting Oolong Tea) is one of the most famous oolong tea in Taiwan. It grows in mountains in Nantou County at altitudes between 600 and 1200 metres. Traditional Dong Ding Oolong Tea is heavily roasted that undergoes repeated slow roasting over a long time. It carries toasty aromas. The tea leaves are dark green and in a tight-ball shape. The golden-amber coloured and smooth liquor has a nutty and toasty flavor.

Dong Ding Oolong Tea is mild which can soothe the digestive tract so it is suitable for people who suffer from indigestion or hyperacidity. Besides, studies concluded that oolong tea improves your skin by reducing inflammation if you drink 400 ml oolong tea consistently.
